Slowly braising pork shoulder in a dutch oven is my favorite way to make carnitas! The pork is flavored with beer, fresh citrus juice, and plenty of onions, then simmers until impossibly tender, juicy, and falling apart. Serve in corn or flour tortillas with chopped onion and fresh cilantro. Also fantastic in burrito bowls! My kids' most-requested taco night recipe. #shorts 🍴 Ingredients🍴 4-5 lb (1.8-2.3kg) boneless pork shoulder 2 tsp Kosher salt 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp oregano or Mexican oregano 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper 2 Tbsp avocado oil or other light, neutral oil 1 orange 2 limes ½ cup (120ml) chicken broth or beer 1 large onion 2 bay leaves Small tortillas Fresh cilantro Lime wedges FULL RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS + PRINTABLE: https://www.wellseasonedstudio.com/tacos-de-carnitas/ ♥️ Let's connect + stay in touch! ♥️ FOOD + LIFESTYLE BLOG: https://www.wellseasonedstudio.com/ INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/wellseasonedstudio TIKTOK: https://www.tiktok.com/@wellseasonedstudio FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/wellseasonedstudio SUBSTACK: https://backforseconds.substack.com/ ♥️ BE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF YOU MADE THIS AT HOME! ♥️ #dinner #easydinner #tacos
